Come Home, America!

Boston Antiwar League Supports NOM Picket of John Kerry's Office

Every Friday, 4:30 – 6:00 PM

Senator John Kerry calls for continuing the criminal War in Iraq. So does Hillary Clinton. These prominent Democratic leaders are full fledged members of the War Party, which is in all likelihood planning additional wars right now, including a possible attack on Iran. Politicians who do not want to be implicated in these immoral and criminal wars must call to withdraw all the troops, close the bases, and stop the attack on Iran. Massachusetts politicians must demand that Governor Romney bring home the Mass. National Guard from Iraq immediately.

ANTIWAR PICKET At JOHN KERRY'S OFFICE

EVERY FRIDAY. 4:30 – 6:00.
WHERE: JOHN KERRY'S OFFICE, 1 BOWDOIN PLACE.

(ON THE CORNER OF BOWDOIN AND CAMBRIDGE ST., IN BOSTON BETWEEN CITY HALL AND MASS GENERAL HOSPITAL AND ON THE SAME SIDE OF CAMBRIDGE STREET AS MGH AND CITY HALL.)

WE PLAN TO CONTINUE THIS PICKET ON A WEEKLY BASIS, SAME TIME, SAME PLACE EACH FRIDAY.

Our Senator, John Kerry, voted for the War on Iraq, an "authorization" of unconstitutional transfer of power to the executive. John Kerry campaigned in 2004 on a pro-war platform of raising more troops. John Kerry, like most every major figure in the Democratic establishment has joined the Republican establishment, in calling for "staying the course," that is continuing the War on Iraq.

The picket will only address the war and the need to end it right now to avoid any more loss of life – American or Iraqi. Our slogan is the same as Cindy Sheehan's, "Not One More." We urge everyone to join this picket. And we urge every organization interested in this to endorse these actions. All politicians who do not support immediate withdrawal from Iraq must be on notice that we will not tolerate their stance. The War Party has both Republican and Democratic wings.

Basically we are activists of all political persuasions who oppose the war. We welcome people of ALL political affiliations – Libertarians, Leftists, rank and file Democrats, Greens, Independents, socialists, traditional conservatives and Republicans against the war and religious activists. We are uniting against the war on Iraq, not only because we oppose the death and destruction that this unjust and unnecessary war brings; but also because of the mortal threat to our democratic republic and to our freedoms by the growing police state that accompanies the war. We need to unite, despite whatever other political beliefs separate us, if we are to stop the War Party and its supporters.

Sponsored by: NOM ("Not One More").
